Distinguished Women Lead and Join the Alliance Board

The Alliance for Greater Works board is comprised of leaders from business, nonprofit, entrepreneurs, government, and financial services to name a few. We are pleased to announce our board chairperson and two new board members. 

Judge Cheryl

Alliance for Greater Works welcomes Judge Cheryl Williams as our board chairperson. Judge Cheryl has committed her life to improving the well-being of communities through her faithful service as an attorney and judge. She is a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and a member of the Omicron Mu Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Cheryl is also a member of Concord Church in Dallas. Alliance is grateful for Judge Cheryl’s long-term service on the Alliance Board.

Sandra Bowie

Alliance for Greater Works also welcomes two new board members in 2024—Sandra Bowie who currently leads community engagement for the Dallas Convention Center. In her career, Sandra has held titles such as executive director, vice-president, consultant, manager and compliance officer in the non-profit, higher education, government, and private sectors. Sandra holds a Master of Public Administration from Indiana University Northwest. We deeply appreciate Sandra’s vast experience and look forward to her board service with us. 

Euralonda Baptist Gates

Euralonda Baptist Gates has more than 30 years of experience in consumer research with expertise collaborating with others to better understand the best way to meet the needs of a community. Euralonda is a foodie and in her spare time she enjoys learning new cooking and techniques. She also likes sewing and dabbles as an amateur gardener. Euralonda’s passion for serving the community and driving positive change makes her an asset to the Alliance board.

In addition to our new board members, please join Alliance for Greater Works as we honor women currently serving on our board: Cassandra Greenfield, Satrina Reid, and Terez Smith. We appreciate their work building, uplifting, and transforming communities so that all people have an opportunity to thrive.
