Board Member Highlight

November’s Board Member Highlight is Terez Smith, Director of Finance at Achieve, A Place To Grow. Achieve is a non-profit organization committed to serving more than 1,000 adults with severe intellectual, physical, and/or mental health disabilities annually from Dallas County and surrounding areas through two primary programs: Community Employment Placement and Work Center/Vocational Training. Previously, Terez worked as the accounting manager for Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming.

Terez’s experience in working with nonprofit organizations, combined with her financial expertise brings value to the Alliance for Greater Works™ Board. With her business acumen and zeal for helping organizations achieve sustainability and mission/vision, Terez has been instrumental in assisting Alliance in maximizing its internal resources to service as many cross-sector leaders and organizations as possible.

Receiving a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Montana State University, Terez is currently working toward an advanced degree. Terez Smith is an invaluable asset in helping Alliance create sustainable systems to facilitate permanent change in the communities we serve.
