Celebrate 20 Years With Us!

On Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. CDT, Alliance will celebrate our 20th anniversary with a virtual gala celebration. Our theme is “An Evening for All Who Dare to Believe.”

For 20 years, Alliance for Greater Works has aimed to strengthen leaders to create systemic change in marginalized communities. Founded in 2001 as the Faith and Philanthropy Institute, our focus has always been to prepare, train, and equip faith-based leaders and organizations to effect positive, measurable change in their communities. A shift in strategy in 2014 initiated the rebrand to Alliance for Greater Works. This new name was chosen to reflect our priority of unlocking the power and potential of investors, leaders, and organizations working together to transform marginalized communities. By working together, we achieve “greater works.”

Today, Alliance is an intermediary organization that measures our success by the success of those we serve. By working collaboratively with funders, partner organizations, government institutions, and community leaders, we tackle the root causes of economic and health disparities such as access to food, jobs, housing, healthcare, and education.
