Alliance for Greater Works Turns 21

On February 16, 2022, Alliance for Greater Works turned 21 years old! In celebration of 21 years of service, the Alliance’s board of directors adopted a new mission statement to reflect our commitment to make a measurable impact on the lives of individuals in marginalized communities.

Our new mission statement is to develop leaders to uplift and transform communities so that all people have opportunities to thrive. We accomplish our mission through leadership development, guiding collective initiatives, capacity building and training and technical assistance. Alliance’s vision remains the same — we envision a world where everyone is empowered to be all that they are created to be, regardless of the zip code in which they happen to live.

21 years of being rooted in service, committed to equity! This year we will be introducing programs to meet the needs of communities of color including the Resilient Church Collective, the Women’s Executive Leadership Certificate Program and the Emerging Leader’s Prep which will address Generation Z workforce readiness.

If you would like to partner with Alliance this year in honor of 21 years, consider supporting Alliance for the next 12 months at $21 per month (totaling $252) or feel free to prayerfully partner with us at a higher monthly level in increments of $21 (i.e., $21 x 120 = $2520 to sponsor one multicultural woman’s registration fee for the Women’s Executive Leadership Certificate Program).
