Soar Like an Eagle
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not grow weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
We are currently in a season of weariness, and everyone keeps saying this is our “new normal.” In the Spiritual realm, I believe God wants us to be like the eagle. “Eagles fly at an outstanding altitude; they soar high, survive weather conditions, and have a keen ability to watch and observe.” God is telling us to watch and observe. He is doing a new thing in the middle of a pandemic.
Think of the molting process an eagle goes through. “It is their most depressed period because they lose virtually everything; they are almost incapacitated.” We are also in the process of molting. People have lost jobs, business owners have lost their companies, and people have even lost their homes. Many people are feeling incapacitated.
“Turbulent winds give the eagle great lifting power, which cause the eagle to fly higher.” God wants us to soar like the eagle during this turbulent season. “The eagle only reaches its full potential by how it handles the adversities that come.” God is also observing how we are handling the adversities in this season. He is telling us to not get weary in waiting.
