Since 2020, our world has endured crisis after crisis—pandemic, economic strain, rising violence, and deepening mental health challenges. In moments when human solutions fall short, prayer offers a direct line to the One who cares for us and calls us to cast our cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7).
Inspired by One Hour of Prayer, an annual gathering hosted by Alliance for Greater Works™, this book brings together 50 heartfelt prayers from leaders, partners, and churches across Texas and beyond. These voices—young and seasoned alike—stand united in seeking God’s peace, healing, and hope for our communities, nation, and world.
Proceeds benefit the Resilient Church Collective, which equips congregations to address trauma and foster resilience. For more than 25 years, Alliance has strengthened leaders and organizations to improve community wellbeing, believing that prayer is not a last resort, but a first response.
