Chief Administrative Officer
Angela A. Johnson is chief administrative officer (CAO) and a member of the organization’s executive management team. Angela joined Alliance in 2012 and assumed the leadership role of chief administrative officer in 2015. In this capacity, Angela oversees several critical functions that drive the development/fundraising strategy for the organization. As CAO, Angela also leads the organization’s multicultural women’s leadership initiative. The first-phase of this client-focused initiative will be geared towards developing the leadership skills of millennial women and is scheduled launch in the fall of 2017.
In addition, Angela is a Business and Women’s Studies scholar. She speaks regularly at conferences focusing on the business contributions of women in the public and private sectors.
Angela holds a B.A.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Dallas Baptist University, a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Southern Methodist University/Center for Nonprofit Management, a M.B.A. and M.A. in Women’s Studies from Texas Woman’s University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Multicultural Women and Gender Studies from Texas Woman’s University.
