The 8th Annual North Texas Giving Day Aims to Set Yet Another National Record

Alliance for Greater Works™ is driven by a vision to see a world without under-resourced communities, and money plays and integral part in fulfilling our mission. The theme of our September newsletter is “All About the Money.”

In the nonprofit sector, in order to have mission impact, money is a major requirement. As such, we are excited to participate in the 2016 North Texas Giving Day on September 22nd. North Texas’ incredible generosity has broken the national record 4 years in a row! After last year’s national record-crushing 118,000 donations totaling $33 million, North Texas Giving Day is back with the hopes that North Texas will raise the giving day bar once again to benefit North Texas nonprofits.

Make your gift on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 6 AM Central – Midnight by visiting the Alliance for Greater Works profile page on the North Texas Giving Day website.  On that day, all gifts of $25 or more made through will be multiplied by bonus funds and prizes between 6 a.m. and midnight!

About North Texas Giving Day: Communities Foundation of Texas, a leading 63-year-old community foundation headquartered in Dallas, TX, created North Texas Giving Day in 2009. This online event helps raises funds for more than 2,000 North Texas nonprofits. For more information, please visit northtexasgivingday.org.
